EUROPE - Artexis Easyfairs has unveiled a new name, strategy and corporate identity, following the two firms formally merging into a single organisation.

“These are very exciting times for the meetings and events industry and our new corporate strategy enables us to play a leading role in its evolution, building on the many synergies across our business,” said Eric Everard, founder and head of Artexis Easyfairs.

Coming together, Artexis forms the multi-format venues business and Easyfairs is the multi-format events business, after a quarter century of existence as separate entities. 

The firms will now work with a common corporate identity and mission, “Visit the future”, with a joint vision “to serve communities, to be at the forefront of marketing and technology and to develop talent and share best practices within the group”.

“We look forward to making an even bigger impact on economies through excellence in the management of publicly and privately owned exhibition halls and convention centres,” Everard added.

The organiser also published its its 2013-14 Activity Report.

“Artexis Easyfairs is a family business – an important quality as this enables us to pursue our long-term vision.

“We reinvest 80 per cent of our profits into future projects and activities. In 2013-14 we strengthened our financial credentials. The group’s equity value increased by 43 per cent, while its net debt-to-equity ratio fell from 53 per cent to 16 per cent.”
