Christopher Dorn, president of Osaka-based Idea International, is pleased to announce the addition of two key account managers to his team, Haruka Matsuno and Ian Michie. Both are based in Osaka.

Haruka is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in hospitality and tourism. She has worked in the event industry in both the U.S. and in Japan, and is fluent in Japanese and English.

Ian, a native of Australia, who holds a BA from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the University of Newcastle, has worked in conference sales in Australia, Germany and Japan. Like Haruka, he is multilingual.

“Our business has developed to the point where it makes sense to expand our staff,” said Dorn. Haruka and Ian are exceptional people, experienced in the event industry, and very savvy. Haruka works amazingly well with U.S. companies because of the years she spent in California, and Ian is a great fit as the demand for client services in Australia continues to increase.”
