There is so many technology options available that it’s hard to know which to focus on first. I read an interesting article in The Exhibitions News Feed titled “Top 5 Tech Trends All Event Professionals Should Know.”
The five are:
Smart watches which have the ability to change the way people communicate.
Mobile Event Apps which are a direct result of visitor’s comfort and familiarity with smart phones.
Instant Attendee Feedback provides real time reactions from visitors
I-Beacon lets exhibitors know when a visitor is near their stand and can provide an incentive to ensure that they drop by and spend time browsing their display.
Social Video provides a high level of user engagement and can potentially increase the number of actual visitors to a trade fair.
