The move comes as part of a restructure at the agency.
Moody joined the Group early in 2014 as group commercial director when Mayridge acquired her company Blondefish, the RFID and event technology specialist.
“The campaign approach we use for creating event solutions along with the integration of event technology into our proposition has resulted in us refocusing and restructuring the business so that we are best prepared to serve the needs of our clients,” said Freeman.
“The appointment of Laura as group MD makes total sense to help us realise our ambitions for the future growth of the company. She has a wealth of experience and credibility across the whole events industry. She is ideally placed to drive our future growth.”
Freeman was MD for 12 years and will be involved in other projects for the group in his new role as chairman.
