The Promotional Products Expo, which has been held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry for the past 11 years, will return to the venue in 2018 as the newly rebranded Resellex.
Organiser Customer Focus has announced that the new-look show will focus more on engagement than driving sales. At the heart of the new exhibition will be a conference featuring key academics at the forefront of the industry.
The show will also aim to educate personalised product suppliers and resellers about an innovative piece of online software that will connect them with suppliers and customers from around the globe.
The new exhibition came about after the creation of channl.com – a free online platform for resellers to create their own customer-facing website with a built-in supply chain.
Paul Kehoe, general manager at Customer Focus, commented: “The current supply chain in this industry can be time-consuming and costly, which is why we believe we have created a business management platform that will change the way this industry does business forever.
“Channl.com allows anybody to set up as a reseller and begin trading globally, but the challenge is to make yourself stand out from the crowd, which is why Resellex is going to be such a crucial exhibition for the industry.
“The exhibition will retain elements of the PPExpo, but the main focus will be on the conferences that will offer resellers and suppliers useful insight into how they can make the most out of their own online business.”
